Lanius, Fair and Organic Fashion.
Everything started with an idea: creating fashion with care of losses, create beauty with a good feeling. That was in 1999, this vision I follow until today Claudia Lanius.
All materials are carefully selected. Season by season, they do extensive research and development work to get the more sustainable textiles and be innovative.
Love Fashion, Think Organic and Be Responsible!
From China to Peru, from Italy to Turkey, Portugal to Lithuania, Lanius works with many organizations and family businesses "who made our clothes" for a perfect workmanship.
For example, in Lithuania, the manufacture is flexible and adjusts the production methods. At the moment, the company hold six different certificates including the GOTS certificate and Oekotex 100.
LANIUS is GOTS certified. This standard regulates the complete supply chain of ecological textiles from cultivation to production, packaging, to trade and distribution.
For the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, Lanius use three natural colours that blend fashionably and homogeneously into the overall picture of the Spring/Summer 2019 collection. LANIUS will gradually implement further colours.
The modern monochrome look is achieved quite naturally by the color-coordinated products and their combinations of organic cotton and Modal®, shimmering poplin and flowing Tencel®/linen twill.
Individuality is embodied in the silk skirt, hand dyed in a small Indian dye works, with flowers that come from the temples and are recycled for dyeing. In combination with the indigo-dyed poplin top, a key look with absolute radiance is created.
This Summer, the colour tones in the "natural illusion" collection theme are like an illusion and reflect the light of spring in their soft shades. The pastel colour palette ranges from a Pale Rosé and the stronger Rosé shade to a strong Coral, fruity Peach, clay make-up, cooler Silver and Grey tones, natural Khaki and the radiant, sunny Yellow. White and pearl are used to prime the pastel sorbet colours. The looks radiate a naturalness that is broken up by sporty elements and decorations such as piping and applied stripes in contrasting colours.
Inspired by the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech - the garden of Yves Saint Laurent - botanical tones nourish the colour palette in the "yves garden" collection theme. Intense green, as only nature itself can create it, literally runs like a green thread through the keylooks. Earthy sand tones, shiny emerald and mineral onyx colours and shades of khaki complete the colour palette. Milky Sky Blue, Natural Beige and White provide light reflexes.

For LANIUS, environmental and socially conscious thinking and action is not just fashion, but an essential part of the core values since the label was founded.
They are delighted and proud that many of their partners, customers, friends, producers and companions share this thinking.
Together they want to make the world a little bit cleaner, fairer and better. The Swiss company Weleda, for instance, is one of those great partners with whom Lanius is leading cooperation in the fields of textiles and textures.
